Why coaching? Great question! No matter how fantastic your life is, if you’re honest with yourself there are things you would like to improve. Think about it. If you have a great job, maybe your relationships aren’t what they can be; if your relationships are fantastic, maybe your finances aren’t so good; if finances aren’t a problem maybe your health isn’t what you’d like.
Take an inventory. Start by asking yourself some powerful questions:
HEALTH – How are your energy levels and vitality? Are you living a healthy lifestyle?
CAREER – Do you have a job you love? Are you fulfilled by what you do?
RELATIONSHIPS – Do you have fulfilling personal relationships?
FINANCES – Do you find yourself struggling to make ends meet, or getting ahead? |
PERSONAL GROWTH – Are you pushing yourself to learn and grow each day?
CONTRIBUTION – How are you giving back to others? |
If you struggle to answer any or all of these questions, then maybe it’s time to invest in the one thing that will pay the highest dividends – YOU! This is the one place in your life where it really is “All about YOU!”
As your coach, I become your accountability partner, helping you to determine the places in your life where you most want to make changes, then planning your action steps, and (most importantly) holding you accountable for doing those things that you say will bring you the most satisfaction and fulfillment. Coaching is an action-oriented relationship that deepens your learning about yourself, and challenges you to take action to be your very best!
That’s where I excel! I help people every day to take charge of their lives, to overcome long-held limiting beliefs, and to no longer settle for anything less than the life they desire! If you’re tired of living a “less than” life, then let’s get started today on creating the life you deserve – a life you can be passionate about, a life that is fulfilling and joyful, a life that is everything you want it to be! |

I am often asked if coaching is the same as therapy. To which I answer, “Not at all.” Let’s be clear about the differences. Therapy often focuses on healing and resolution of a client’s past issues, mental conditions, addictive behaviors, abuse, trauma or other related mental disruptions. Most states require therapists to hold special licenses and credentials, including medical degrees, in some cases.
Personal coaching is geared less towards the healing of old wounds and more on a client’s present and future life. Coaching is about forward movement, action, and behavior change. A coach is someone who assists clients in breaking down goals, projects, and plans into practical, do-able action steps without healing, saving, or fixing. |

Another source of confusion is the difference between coaching and consulting, so let’s also make that distinction. A consultant is someone you hire who has specific expertise, and is there to evaluate what you’re doing, and then formulate a plan for you to implement. They are the expert. However, coaching is about YOUR life, and you are the expert. I will never tell you what to do or even “give advice” to you.
Rather, based on what you tell me, I will ask powerful questions that will get you to look inward, seeking the deeper connection from which you can make decisions about your life, your goals, and your path. I will give you “homework” that is in alignment with the changes you are seeking to create. The assignments are meant to challenge you to take action, to overcome limiting beliefs, and to move toward your vision, creating the life you most desire. |
